How can we Stop Police Harassment

How can we stop police Harassment? i could image how many people think about this question.cause myself and Sullivan are sick and tired of being harassment by police officer everyday.my opinions To stop police harassment, you can protest against it or even turn in any officers that are caught harassing someone. Often, proof is need for the station to believe the officer is harassing. Now is a possibility that the rating could go down.
Sometime i ask myself is there any way to stop police Harassment? I don;t believe so,you should take it in your own hands.like if you feel the police is harassing you then try to stay away from the area they are in. You can go to their bosses and let them know what is going on too. If these don't work then go to the papers. Tell your story and let them print it.Or  is there any way to stop police harassment Small-town cops love to harrass people when they have nothing else to do, in my experience. I've been the victim of this before.. I think assuming that police only bother those who are doing.. How do people feel about police brutality? do you believe police misconduct is need for society ? How can we stop police brutality ? Is it possible to prevent it?  What kind of method we can use? Every day somebody get ask these  question

Stop Police Bruality

The history of Police Bruality was first used in the 1600s. The first use of this term was in the New York Times in 1893, describing a police officer's beating of a civilian. Police brutality can be associated with racial profiling. Portions of the population may perceive the police to be oppressor. In addition, there is a perception that victims of police brutality often belong to relatively powerless groups, such as minorities, the young, and the poor. Police brutality is one of several forms of police misconduct , which include false arrest , racial profiling , surveillance abuse and police corruption. For example A 15-year-old student at Garfield Park, a private school for children with emotional or behavioral disorders, was shot twice after he threatened the police with a pair of scissors. The incident happened in front of the school. The boy was first threatening some school employees and also some students, before he ran out on the parking lot where he pointed two scissors at a police officer. He was asked to put his weapon down, and a witness said that she heard how they yelled ”put it down, put it down!repeatedly ” before the sound of two gunshots being fired. The officer that shot the boy, William Smith, was not injured. The shooting will be investigated according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. The boy was reported in critical but stable condition at Cooper University Hospital, Camden. Carol Dunn had a similar incident with the police in New Jersey, where her son was shot by an officer outside a church because he refused to let go of the knife he was holding.  statisticly facts states that still to this day the officer of the crime have not been sentence or indited

why do police officer never get charge with domestic violence

During the early ages Domestic violence, also known as domestic abuse  Domestic violence has many forms including physical aggression (hitting, kicking, biting, shoving, restraining, slapping, throwing objects), or threats thereof; sexual abuse; emotional abuse; controlling or domineering; intimidation; stalking; passive/covert abuse. for example Department of Corrections of Santa Clara County on December 29, 2004 Titus Rucker, a disabled 71-year-old man who found himself in “civil custody. Department of Corrections of Santa Clara County on December 29, 2004 was beaten by DOC officers. Titus Rucker, now 73-years-old, was beaten without cause while in custody on December 29, 2004. He suffered a skull fracture, loss of eyesight, torn ligaments and a dislocated arm.  The official incident report states that the DOC officer (easily 40 years younger than Mr. Rucker) feared that mr rucker was going to assault or attemped to injure him. therefor more the 10 doc offricer assistin to beat him. And another reason why police officer always get away is, A 7-year-old girl was shot and killed when an officer’s gun went off during a struggle with a woman in a house where Detroit police were searching for a suspect in the slaying of a teenager. the reports stated that on that sunday Aiyana Jones was hit in the neck by a single bullet and died at a hospital. and the officer never got charge with the shotting.. that show you offricer never get charge with killing sivilians

Rodney King ( police misconduct)

Rodney Glen King was the black motorist whose beating by white police officers .

1992 March 3 in Los Angeles , King was pulled over by the cops for driving recklessly. A witness, George Holliday, videotaped the end of King's encounter with police from his apartment balcony. The video shows the officers severely beating King in the presence of other L.A. cops -- all told, nearly 20 seconds of whacking and kicking as King tries to rise from the ground. Aired repeatedly all over the U.S. the footage shocked viewers and charges were brought against four cops: Laurence Powell, Theodore Briseno, Timothy Wind and Stacey Koon.  On 29 April 1992 a jury acquitted three of the officers and deadlocked on the charges against Powell. Predominantly African American areas of the city erupted in violence, and after almost two weeks  there were more than 50 fatalities, thousands of arrests and an estimated billion dollars in property damage. The city of L.A was so corrupt other police enforcement from other citys had to come in help because the police enforcement could keep up with the violence. At one point King appeared before cameras in a plea that has since been boiled down to simply, quote that "Can we all get along here? Can we all get along?"  after the case  King was awarded $3.8 million after a civil suit against the city (and others).  during the process  Powell and Koon were convicted in federal court of violating King's civil rights and both police offcier was sententced 30 mouths and prison.. still to this day rodney king  altercasions still make new headlines

police misconduct

Police misconduct  refers to inappropriate actions taken by police officers in connection with their official duties. Police misconduct can lead to a miscarriage of justice and sometimes involves discrimination. In an effort to control police misconduct, there is an accelerating trend for civilian agencies to go beyond review to engage directly in investigations and to have much greater input into disciplinary decisions. Misconduct has been shown to be related to personality and education, but it can also be significantly affected by the culture of the police agency. The New York City Police Department (NYPD), established in 1845, is currently the largest municipal police force in the United States, with primary responsibilities in law enforcement and investigation within the five boroughs of New York City. The NYPD was the first police agency established in the United States. It has its headquarters in Lower Manhattan, New York City.    Police brutality  is the abuse of authority by the unwarranted infliction of excessive force by personnel involved in various aspects of law enforcement while in performance of their official duties. The term is also applied to abuses by corrections personnel in municipal, state and federal penal facilities including military prisons. In 2008, several cases of police misconduct in the U.S. were uncovered through surveillance tapes. These include one case where an officer's testimony contradicted the tape, and another tape where police officer Patrick Pogan charged a bicyclist with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and the tape showed that an officer had knocked him off his bicycle. Two undercover cops were indicted on lying about a drug bust, and charges of assault  were dropped against a truck driver when the video showed the police beating him; another case showed a man accused of resisting arrest being beaten. for example The Sean Bell shooting incident took place in the New York City borough of Queens, New York, United States on November 25, 2006, when three men were shot a total of fifty times by a team of both  undercover officers. that shows you that police misconduct is over rated.
